InfoSec Ukraine 2025: practical cybersecurity

2025-05-08

On May 6, Kyiv hosted one of the most prominent industry events – InfoSec Ukraine 2025. This annual conference unites professionals who not only discuss security but build it every day across banking, critical infrastructure, business, and the public sector.

This year’s event, partnered by CLICO Ukraine, focused on hands-on approaches and concrete technologies for countering complex, multi-vector threats – challenges that go far beyond firewalls and antivirus tools.

Our key partners presented solutions in the areas of cyber intelligence, brand protection, and the deployment of advanced analytical platforms:

Vladyslav Dubov, Head of Architecture Department at IT Specialist, introduced Cyberint by Check Point Software Technologies, highlighting new methods for protecting digital assets beyond the corporate perimeter: detecting phishing sites, fake domains, credential leaks, and digital extortion activities in the dark web. The integration of threat intelligence with proactive takedown capabilities is no longer an optional feature – it has become a critical component of brand protection in 2025.

Vlad Samoilenko, Solution Architect Observability – EMEA South, Cisco, outlined the capabilities of Splunk by Cisco as a platform for correlation, analytics, and incident response. He showcased how next-generation SOCs can leverage XDR logic, environment-wide telemetry, and adaptive automation to drastically reduce detection and response times.

InfoSec Ukraine 2025 reaffirmed that modern cybersecurity is not merely a set of tools – it is a culture. A culture of response, analysis, and anticipation.

We extend our sincere thanks to the organizers, partners, and speakers for delivering an event that continues to shape Ukraine’s professional cybersecurity community!
