Description of technology

Network Packet Broker

BYPASS SWITCHES - inline switches that work with NGFW, IPS/IDS, and DDoS solutions, providing transparent protection without impacting network reliability or critical service availability. These devices enhance operational efficiency and maximize the uptime of inline security tools.

NETWORK PACKET BROKER - delivers centralized access to network traffic copies for NetOps and SecOps teams. NPBs enable real-time threat detection, analysis and response, as well as traffic aggregation, filtering and load balancing across security and monitoring tools.

NETWORK TAP - dedicated hardware devices that provide access to network traffic for monitoring and analysis. Both passive and active TAPs are available, supporting a wide range of connectors and fiber types. Virtual and cloud-based TAPs extend visibility to hybrid environments.

NETWORK VISIBILITY CONTROLLER - centralized management software for SDN-based network visibility. It allows remote deployment, configuration and orchestration of visibility infrastructure components from a single platform, hosted either on-premises or in the cloud.

OPEN VISIBILITY PLATFORM - software hosted directly on NPBs to enable advanced functionalities such as traffic deduplication, NetFlow/IPFIX generation, TLS decryption and other operator-level visibility features, providing flexible and comprehensive monitoring across the network.
