CLICO achieves AWS DSOR status
2026-10-05
CLICO has achieved AWS DSOR status, becoming the 19th company in the world with this capability. The status is the result of approximately two years of cooperation and discussions with AWS and represents another step in the development of CLICO’s cloud competencies.
AWS DSOR status enables CLICO to sell AWS solutions as well as ISV solutions available through AWS Marketplace in a two-tier model, with the Partner formally involved in the sales process. This creates new opportunities for CLICO and its Partners to jointly deliver cloud projects while maintaining the existing distributor-partner cooperation model.
One of the key capabilities enabled by DSOR is the ability to create AWS Marketplace Private Offers with Partner participation. Transactions carried out through AWS Marketplace can remain within the partner channel and can be taken into account in the Partner’s status and relationship with individual vendors.
For CLICO’s Partners, this opens additional opportunities to participate in AWS Marketplace projects without bypassing the established distribution model. Partners can work with CLICO on AWS and ISV solutions available through AWS Marketplace while benefiting from the distributor’s involvement in the sales process.
The new status also provides access to additional AWS sales support programs that can offer benefits to end customers. These include the AWS Marketplace Private Offer Promotion Program (MPOPP), which enables eligible customers to receive additional benefits funded by AWS.
The expansion of CLICO’s AWS capabilities strengthens the company’s role as a Value-Added Distributor supporting Partners in the adoption and delivery of cloud technologies. AWS DSOR status complements CLICO’s existing expertise and creates new opportunities to develop joint projects around AWS and solutions available through AWS Marketplace.
Through this capability, CLICO and its Partners can further expand their cooperation in the AWS ecosystem, combining AWS cloud solutions, third-party technologies available through AWS Marketplace, and the support of an established distribution channel.
