CLICO and Thales at banking conference 2026

2026-04-22

We are returning to the XXVI Payments & Security EMA Conference 2026 not simply “to be present.” It is about the opportunity to engage on equal terms with those who are shaping today’s approaches to financial sector security.

This time, together with Thales, the focus is on a topic that is rapidly becoming critical: AI and GenAI security in banking scenarios.

At the center is Thales’ approach to securing the entire AI lifecycle—from user interaction with a chatbot to the underlying models and data. This naturally introduces new types of risks:

  • sensitive data leakage through LLMs
  • prompt injection and model manipulation
  • uncontrolled resource consumption and related business risks

At the event, Volodymyr Zdor, Channel Account Manager at Thales, presented the AI Application Security approach—a new level of control for GenAI applications (what traditional WAFs cannot detect): protection against key LLM threats such as prompt injection, data leakage, and model abuse, with integration possible without complex infrastructure changes.

We are here because these changes are already happening. And it is important not only to observe them, but to be part of the conversation where the new standard is being formed.

CLICO Ukraine and Thales thank the EMA Association for the high-quality organization of the event and the environment for professional dialogue.
